Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, July 1, 2008 - Opened not decanted. Showing some clarity at the edge; retains the color of a transparent red tomato. Served around 65F. A little heat with dried apricots on the nose. On the palate: dried orange fruit (nectarines, apricots, oranges) and red strawberry; nice bodyweight and acidity with a drying, peppery finish. Seems like it's just coming down the back side of the roller coaster. Drink up. Good.
