Friday, March 2, 2012 - Tasting this wine blind, my friend drew parallels to the wines from Sine Qua Non, which IMO was a fair comparison if we think of Pax as a sort of second wine to the big ones from SQN. The palate was cool and meaty with black berries, pepper, american styled garrigue. Good structure, great acidity, good tannins and a long and complex finish. More fleshy than Northern Rhône, but wonderful and in balance.
