90 Points

Tuesday, April 21, 2015 - Medium yellow. Nose with citrus, some yellow apple, some stone fruit and a hint of tropical fruit, a bit of smoke/burnt match, mineral and some other muted notes (wool?) and just a hint of petroleum. The fruit does not dominate the nose, as the other components are rather prominent. Almost dry palate (but not quite), good concentration of yellow fruit with good ripeness, quite present minerality, good acidity, and a fresh aftertaste. There's a bit of "spontaneous fermentation" quality and restrained style over the wine, which doesn't really try to flatter. To me that's good. Fully approachable, but could take many more years in the cellar. 90 p.
