Saturday, May 11, 2013 - Decanted for 1 hour. Ruby red color. Nose of raspberries and chocolate. On the palate there is fruit and heat from the alcohol. The finish is very smooth and round. No acidity or astringency. This wine has been a joy to drink. I can't see it getting any better than this, it may have peaked already, but the denouement is still enjoyable.
