Friday, November 20, 2009 - Wonderful nose of red berries. Cherry, redcurrant and raspberry. Typical, but restrained garrigue notes. On the palate this is tremendously balanced and refined with a nice extract sweetness. Unbelievably there is NO trace of tannins. In spite of that the wine is very concentrated and has an enormous length. On the palate the red berry profile is intensified by a great freshness that clearly derives from the Grenache. You can feel that there is still a lot of complexity hidden in the depth of this wine. Time will unveil a lot more. 94++ P.
