Sunday, May 16, 2010 - Blackish red. Tons of black cherry aromas, with roasted meat, soy sauce, and asian spice. Mouth feel and weight were great without being overly viscous. Lively acid and ultra ripe tannins with fruit and alcohol to match combine for a stellar balance. Would be difficult to guess this was a Rhone or a Central Coast wine. Long satisfying finish. I really enjoyed this, and look forward to trying one every couple of years.
