Sunday, September 18, 2011 - Clos des Papes 2000 and 2004-08 Vertical at Henry's Lakehouse (Candlewood Lake, Danbury CT): The 2007 followed the '08 and the difference was striking. This had a much fuller presence and a longer finish of dark red berries. The nose gave off some spices but this wine needs some time to gain those secondary notes but it should be a blockbuster.
