Sunday, April 30, 2023 - Magnum. Decanted for 5 hours before tasting. Paired with black Angus T-bone and porterhouse. Good nose with the Viognier lift. Dark fruit and floral. On the palate it defies its 16% plus alcohol.
Great colour, balanced. Fruit, tar, savoury spice. Long finish. Drank over 4 hours. Subtle changes. Cracker. Perfect for red wine season, good company and fatty steaks. Probably last a few more years in a magnum. I would drink now to 2025 for best experience
