Tuesday, January 12, 2010 - impenetrably deep color, typical to Kistler Pinot; nose was a heady floral scent (acacia? more reminiscent of a Cali Cab than Pint but on palate confectionary intense fruit compote, more bluebery than cherry or strawberry but they seemed to be there. Touch of acidity on finish, which I personally like but know it is controversial for others. This seems as opened as it will ever be
