Saturday, December 7, 2013 - Perfect bottle from importer- fill very top shoulder bottom neck- everything about the wine looked good- beautiful garnet /ruby color; decanted and tasted - muted nose as the wine was still too cold from the cellar. This wine got better and better as the night went on... Balance of acidity, mature sweet tannins... Still tasted young- no mustiness; spice, fresh raspberry, with a little fruitcake and herbs... Nice long finish... Again, this wine is 66 years old and tasted fresh as the day is long in summer... Lovely...
