Saturday, May 16, 2020 - PnP, continued evolution over evening. Garnet with orange/brown elements. Nose with cran-cherry fruit, earthiness and baking spices. Medium fruit weight that is very fresh, complex flavors of fruit, spice and meaty/earth and bright, balancing, palate-framing acidity. Light tannins. Really an amazingly satisfying pinot. Enjoyed next to another great 2007 Arcadian Pisoni and this was the hands down standout. Might hold the remaining bottle a bit longer, but no need to.
