Sunday, May 22, 2011 - This is going to be one incredible pinot, but it's now in it's infantile stages, which is unusual for Ca pinots. This is way more Burgundian than most I have tasted from the new world, except maybe for Beaux Freres when they are very young. All the elements are there, but even today, a day after opening, it's still reluctant to give up it's true flavors. Very well balanced, just in need of some time to come together. 11 bottles left, so I can experiment as time goes by.
