Saturday, December 15, 2012 - Low neck fill. Decanted for 1.5 hours and consumed over next hour. Amazingly fresh, no bricking, and very little sediment. A longer decant was probably needed, as this wine stayed a bit tight the entire time. Nonetheless, a nose of lush red fruit and pepper, and good persistence through the mid-palate and plenty of tannins to carry it down. My guess is a long life ahead of it.
