Saturday, December 20, 2014 - Purple color with an initial bouquet and flavor of cassis and eucalyptus, mixed with dusty tannins. Good balance and smooth texture. On the negative side, the wine fell apart rather quickly after airing, taking on a bullion flavor, with unbalanced acidity and alcohol. Drink it up, and once opened, drink it fast. The wine has clearly declined since I last tasted it.
