Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - Caught a whiff of alcohol at first and was worried. But the baked cherry smells with some leather were nice. Much more structure than I thought would be there, this was no fruit bomb. 14.9% ABV and 10% Petit Syrah seemed to give it a lot of grip. Peppery, baked cherry tart. It would be a very nice food wine, maybe beef stew.
