Beautiful dark color, initially auburn but later dark garnet, with a nose of elegant rose,cherry, bramble and old oak. The palate was tight. It gave up some high level dark cherry and light floral notes but even after 2 hours of slo ox, 45 min of decanting and 30 min in the glass, this wine needs another 2 years.
