Saturday, July 15, 2023 - Always a treat and a very special wine by any measure. There is a rusticity and a mouth feel that is closer to wine than sweet wine, as well as a piercing acidity that will carry it for many years to come. Tastes many decades younger. Coating but not sweet, despite the molasse aromas. Very enjoyable and an obvious “pirate” wine candidate to any blind tasting!
