Saturday, October 27, 2012 - Dark red. Hay, herbs, licorice and a bit of meat on the nose. This wine had flavors of fig, currant, licorice, smoked meat and a bit of chocolate in an incredibly long finish. The tannins are still quite firm, but this wine opened up quickly. A wonderfully complex wine.
