Wednesday, January 3, 2007 - A fine aged Monte Bello, Bordeaux like as always. It is a tad tight right now, maybe in a dumb phase. The nose is a little alcholic with a good waft of fresh blueberries. The tannins are tight and significant for such an aged beast. There is a hint of mint and eucalyptus in the mouth with a long but dry finish. Maybe just a tad tight and hot right now which keeps the rating at 91.
