Thursday, January 16, 2014 - Really stunning, and still quite young. This bottle came directly from the winery after a 30 yr vertical tasting event, the provenance was perfect, and it showed. Even if the color shows no age, the aromatics and the cool, full-bodied palate show the type of depth and breadth that can only come with age. The aromas sucked me in (I willingly surrendered) with bright, almost piercing notes of cassis, plums, earth and red floral leading the way. The palate confirms the nose, it's the real deal, and the great part, this is just getting started. Would love to see this again in 10 or 15 years. Beautiful. 12,5% abv, highly recommended, drink thru 2029
