Friday, July 13, 2012 - Dark pale ruby. Initially a mix of strong mint and oak on the nose. After some aeration, the nose calmed down but still displayed a strong oak funk with chocolate and cherry overtones. After some more time, the funk lent itself to more appealing herbs and flowers. There must be some whole cluster here. Rich, supple and spicy on the palate with the flavors mirroring the aromas. Decent finish. Relatively solid.
