Friday, October 15, 2010 - Dark and dense- a ruby-black. Aromas of pepper, blackcurrant, anise, licorice, and black cherry throughout the bouquet. Predominate flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant, spice box, coffee, cocoa, and tobacco. Rich and silky through the palate with lish and ripe tannins. The oak and fruit are nicely integrated. Medium-long finish.
