Thursday, April 9, 2020 - Impressive, especially for such a low pedigree wine. Plenty of life here, still vibrant. Impressive solid ruby color still. Fragrant nose has opened over several hours to reveal menthol, pretty red fruit, floral aromas, blood, and iron. Minerally fruit, tannins resolved, a little gritty, good grip but a bit ragged on the long finish. Quite a bargain, and shows that pedigree is a state of mind. 4-13-15-8: 90/100.
