Friday, June 18, 2010 - Opened bottle and let sit open for a couple of hours. Deep dark colors with purple hues around the edges. Nose is black raspberry, tobacco, and allspice. Taste dark, tart fruit with a bit of pomegranate undertones. There is a hint of herbalness or greeness in there as well. The wine is more on the dryer side with just a little noticeable alcohol that creeps up just before the finish. All in all a very well made wine.
