Friday, July 24, 2015 - Traditional mature barolo nose with preserved and dried fruit, sweet liquorice (polypody fern), menthol, camphor and spice. The taste is complex and powerful, with smooth tannins and warming alcohol, yet manages to stay elegant, balanced and harmonious. Of course - for a wine from Accomasso - it's outstanding, but also lacks some extra tension or vibrancy to make you go totally "wow".
