Tuesday, May 9, 2006 - Tasting Group Dinner - 12 Years of Beaucastel (JP's American Bistro, Minneapolis): Deep purple/red. Started out jammy and lush – a fruit bomb with a huge kirsch nose. Light/medium body. This wine started to open up a bit, but then quickly thinned out, revealing a hard, acidic backbone. Where did the fruit go?
