Monday, October 11, 2010 - Decanted...lighter red garnet color, slight cloudy....wonderful Rhone nose of leather, herbs, pepper, aged berry fruit. Not the most concentrated wine....but plenty of flavor and actually a pretty nice balance of acidity and fruit, to go along with earth funk. Dried herbs, old saddle leather, truffle funk, black pepper......still drinking well, just not the blockbuster for Beau.
