Friday, October 25, 2002 - Medium ruby/garnet in appearance with maybe the slightest bit of brick at the edges. Decanted 4 hours. Shows a medium nose somewhat delicate for a CdP. Aromas of spicy blackberry plums licorice earth a hint of barnyard and a hint of cedar. Elegant. Medium to light bodied but very intense. Plums and licorice up front. Builds to midpalate with blackberries wild berries licorice and spice. Very clean supple and in well balanced. Great now and should hold for another 10 years.
