Wednesday, December 30, 2009 - Golden yellow color, rather restrained nose with mostly floral notes and a hint of stone fruits. Palate is muted with light body, creamy/waxy texture, some honeysuckle, a curious and frustrating lack of a fruit component, and some heat on the finish. Not as enjoyable as it warms in the glass either , would definitely drink at cooler temps. There are hints of greater potential but at this stage not in the same league as the HooDoo Man which I found much more drinkable and complex. I will not touch my remaining bottles for at least 5-7 years.
