Friday, February 22, 2013 - A big burly white, but also reallynicely done. Big bold nose of kumquats, white pepper, almon and honeyed orange peel. Thick unctuous ripe palate with tons of honeyed and caramel along with spicy tropical fruit. Got better with time in the glass, but could do with more bottle time to allow some slight heat notes to calm down and oak to better integrate.
