91 Points

Saturday, April 9, 2011 - Floral, stone fruit, ripe apple, iodine, and toasted hazelnut nose. Rich palate of peach, pear, hibiscus, and spicy oak. Definitely a richer, oakier style of Pinot Blanc but it retains some nice acidity. Very complex and balanced. Improved with an hour or so of air. I think with 1 or 2 years in the bottle, the oak will integrate further and this'll be a fantastic wine for pairing with richer chicken or pork dishes.
