Friday, September 29, 2006 - flamboyant bouquet when first opened, faded to quite subtle after a while. needed alot of coaxing to bring any of it back. lots of leather and old world style. palate is also not very forthcoming. not bad really but did not live up to expectations. somewhat thin. a photo finish when tasted side by side with an '03 chateau de clairefont margaux, but in the end, lost by a nose to a wine nearly half the price.
