Tuesday, February 9, 2021 - 2001 20-years on Commanderie dinner. Here we had the most complex nose of the evening. As so often, Mission Haut-Brion combines dark fruit with animatic and herbal notes, providing excellent depth and complexity. The palate was a bit too rustic for my tasted so I made some deductions on the overall score. Nose 96, Palate 94. Great wine to drink now and will keep another decade.
