Thursday, October 29, 2020 - Starts off a little tart. Then comes around quite quickly with a bit of air. Earth, high pitched cranberry, very good mouthfeel and very elegant. Could do with a tiny bit more stuffing, it's a tad lean but so nice in an autumnal way. Lovely village for sure. If it had some more core sweetness it could be exceptional but it is just shy of that. So while great MG Vosne village isn't quite up there with the Champions league (think Comte Liger Belair) but it's one of the best of the rest. But feels like it's time to drink up over the next 3-5 years as my fear is that the tartness is just going to get more pronounced and the fruit will fade which could render it too "sour" soon.
