Feathery bodied, lovely inner mouth perfume, silken, fresh but far less acidic presence than most '96s, good mineral undertones, riipe tannins. Finish is long and clean. This is a really nice, feminine wine. Lacks any sense of power right now but is oh so Pinot. Great drink right now. And if it opens up more to develop more presence, it could be a great wine. Try again in two years.
