92 Points

Saturday, January 31, 2009 - Lovely wine--pure, pure Chambolle. Color was ruby and light, on its way towards some bricking but pure red for the moment. The nose is exceptional--very precise, with fresh raspberries and sous bois. The palate does not have the same complexity and allure as the nose, but it is precise and pure and extremely well balanced, with red berries and ample acidity. This is a food wine. Impressive finish too. These are drinking well now and I don't think you'd see gains from extended aging. A few more years, maybe, but this is a very nice 96 right now.
