Tuesday, October 20, 2009 - Honey yellow in colour. Nose shows honey, hay, poached pears, vanilla. Palate has more honey, pears, some peach, fruit compote, savoury custard. Very similar profile to the Clos de la Bergerie but at a higher intensity and with a fatter profile. Everything is in balance though and the wine is very "alive". Outstanding.
