Monday, July 18, 2011 - Super ripe nose of black berry fruit, roasted meat/game and pepper. While others liked this quite a bit and commented it was the best showing they've ever seen of this wine, it was a bit too jammy for my personal taste. The palate was full of very ripe, almost syrupy black fruits and spice with earth notes. Full bodied with a long finish. Served alongside the 90 Chave Hermitage.
