I now know what some writers mean that this wine is built to age, this wine came across as drinkable but young, with chewy tannins that were not exactly intrusive but they certainly made their presence felt. Complex, youthful, vibrant and balanced, this is a wine that appeals to both hedonist and intellectual (i.e. drinkers like me!) NB: I decanted this for 24 hours, and still felt it could have benefited from more breathing time. If opening this, give it plenty of time in decanter!
