Monday, January 18, 2010 - Great QPR - a friend picked it up for $8 on sale at the supermarket. Simple pinot fruit but enough acid to keep it from being flabby. The fruit and acid worked well with fatty roasted pork with fennel. Just a touch of oak. This was a simple pinot that didn't try to reach above it's VdP status.
