Friday, October 24, 2014 - Like many riojas, very spicy and balanced, with some leathery licorice on the finish. Great color now with a little brick showing at the edges. Held up really well with the grilled ribeye for dinner with friends who are Napa Cab fans. Can't see it getting any better so I'd drink in the next few years. Excellent old world wine.
