Saturday, March 22, 2014 - Decanted 2.5 hours. Strong graphite and smoky chocolate aromas on the nose. Mature palate, layered red currant and wild red berry. Somewhat austere acidity on midpalate, finishes firm and leathery. Could have more expressiveness, although this improves glass to glass. Seems to be toward the end of maturity.
