Sunday, December 5, 2010 - Had it side by side with Guigal 07 Gigondas (90 Pts.) which was very nice, but not as good as the St. Cosme. Dark ruby red. Fine nose of blueberry, cherry, cassis, some floral elements and pepper. A terrific food wine that went well with excellent molecular cooking at Marigold BYOB in Philly. Ready to drink with no tannin. Beautiful balanced palate of cherry, black currant, lilac, pepper and spice. Nice acidity. A beautiful food wine.
