Nose is better than the palate with this bottle - tastes mainly of citrus with a big streak of acidity, palate-cleansing, really, good minerality all along, but missing the buttery quality of some other bottles I've had. Still quite a nice Chardonnay, but this bottle would be best with food, rather than standing on its own. I got a case of this stuff, and there have been some disappointing 89s in there, and a couple really excellent 95s, and then there's the middle ground, like this bottle. Much more variation than expected.
