Saturday, January 27, 2024 - This bottle was disgorged in 2014 and cellared since 2015. 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. This was as good a bottle of Vilmart NV as I have ever opened. Fabulously complex, funk, cherries and yeasty bread on the nose. Palate of silk, fine bead, white chocolate. Just smooth and delicious, lots of vigor still but really getting polished.
