Fabulous nose: oaky and earthy with pear and apple showing a touch of oxidation. Nose continues onto the palate with pear, apple, spice, and toast. Medium-long finish. Judicious oakiness throughout. My favorite non-vintage of the tasting! If you’re into barrel-fermented bigger-bodied styles this is a must-try. Incredible value and performance for a non-vintage.
