Monday, March 12, 2012 - Surprisingly good, and much better than my last bottle four years ago. Matched much better with the steak than the worn and softer 1998 Fox Creek Reserve Cabernet. This wine shows a palate full of dark fruit, good heft to the palate and presence in the mouth, with nicely rounded tannins. Nothing profound here, but a good showing. Blackstone's Steakhouse with the Westport guys.
