Thursday, November 29, 2018 - From one of the first lots of wine I purchased, so close to 15 years in the cellar. Showing very well for what it is, a sub $20 Bordeaux from a great vintage. Deep dark ruby core with slight bricking. Cedar, violets, blackberry, cassis, earth. Tremendous balance with crunchy dark fruits and subtle tannins. Punching above the expected density for a wine in this category. Quite a charming wine that showcases why you want to age value Bordeaux from classic vintages.
