Saturday, August 28, 2010 - Completely shut down on day 1, no change after an hour in the glass--poured back in the bottle for day 2. Day 2, closed nose but getting some currants with floral highlights, with mocha and flint. Ripe red fruits on the palate, with strong acidity. Lengthy mocha and toasty finish, with pure cassis hanging on. This is really built for the long haul. Needs lots of time. Hold. Impressive for it's refinement and focus.
