Monday, May 6, 2013 - Dark magenta color. Pretty nose of ripe dark cherries, coffee and melted chocolate notes wrapped around grilled peppers and black pepper. A subtle whiff of rose petals rounds it out. Black cherry, plum and cocoa on the palate. A pleasant bitterness on the finish. Sweet, granular tannins. Nice acidity and balance. Drinking beautifully now and should improve over next 3 years. Very enjoyable wine.
